Hannah took Amalia for her first sledding adventure. Alex enjoyed feeding Amalia while they visited Esko. She has a great appetite! I think it was squash for dinner this night.

What an exciting place to be with the family! This is at the top of the Highline trail - at Granite Chalet.
Hannah & Alex were excellent hikers and huckleberry pickers.
This is the first part of the Highline trail. We walked close to the edge holding on to a rope. It was cold when we started out, but we soon found the sunshine!
The entire Walther crew made it on this 12 mile hike - it was awesome! 

Our Weekend on Round Lake

Zena learned to swim this weekend. However, she never passed up a chance to hitch a ride on a someone trying to relax and float along - in this instance, Jeff.
Trolling for Northerns - Dad loved to catch weeds, though finally he did land a fish or two.
The Women had to show the men how to fish - Hannah, Mom and Christina were the first to catch fish.
Hannah's proud to catch a fish - but will NOT touch them!
